Liberal Democrats are urging local residents to give Uttlesford District Council their views on how the District should develop between now and 2021.
Liberal Democrat Councillors Geoffrey Sell and David Morson persuaded members of Uttlesford District Council's South West Area Panel at its recent meeting to agree to holding a workshop this summer on the local development plan.
The workshop would enable local stakeholders, including parish councillors, to give their views on how the District should develop between now and 2021.
Cllr Geoffrey Sell said: "The local development plan is one of the most important issues facing the District Council. The issues facing the communities covered by the Panel area are not identical to that of the rest of Uttlesford."
Cllr Morson added: "We know that development pressures are an important issue for many residents. We need to ensure that Uttlesford continues to be a listening council."
