The Audit Commission's Access to Services report on Uttlesford District Council was published on 19th July.
The Audit Commission has recently published its Access to Services inspection report for Uttlesford District Council. The inspectors noted there were many good examples of work that were put in place by the Lib Dem administration which ran the Council until May, and that plans were already in place to improve access to services further.
Cllr Peter Wilcock, Lib Dem Group Leader commented "I was pleased to see that Uttlesford District Council's efforts to improve the way it offers services to the public have been highlighted. As the Council's Customer Services Champion until May, I was pleased to put into effect challenging new ways of working in order to improve residents' experience of the Council"
"Every comment was seen as a way to improve services. I hope that the new Conservative administration will continue to give the higher level of service that we started to implement, and I thank Conservative Cllr Howard Rolfe for giving credit to the Liberal Democrats for creating the framework to improve customer service."
